1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CoachBridge.org LLC ("CoachBridge," "we," "us"). They apply when you use coachbridge.org or ask us to run a campaign. If you accept these Terms for a school, district, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organization.
If we sign a separate written agreement with your organization, that agreement controls wherever it conflicts with these Terms.
2. The service
CoachBridge creates and manages targeted local advertising campaigns that promote a school's open coaching positions to potential coaches. People who are interested respond through CoachBridge, and we pass their information to the school.
CoachBridge is not an employer, staffing agency, or employment agency. We don't employ, screen, interview, or recommend candidates. We don't make hiring decisions and don't act on behalf of either the school or the candidate.
No campaign runs until we've confirmed the details of the opening with you.
3. Fees and payment
- Placement fee. You owe a one-time fee of $500 for each Placed Coach. A "Placed Coach" is a person who is first introduced to you through a CoachBridge campaign and who accepts a coaching position with your school or district within 12 months of that introduction.
- No hire, no fee. If a campaign doesn't lead to a Placed Coach, you owe nothing.
- Advertising included. The placement fee covers campaign creation, advertising management, and advertising spend. There are no upfront fees or subscriptions.
- Notice of hire. You agree to tell us within 14 days when a candidate introduced by CoachBridge accepts a position.
- Invoicing. We invoice after a Placed Coach accepts a position. Invoices are due within 30 days unless we agree otherwise in writing. You are responsible for any taxes that apply other than taxes on our income.
- Candidates you already knew. If a candidate had already applied to you, or was already in your hiring process before our introduction, tell us when we send you their information. No fee applies to that candidate.
4. School responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your hiring process. That includes:
- Screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates
- Background checks, certifications, and any other requirements for working with students
- Complying with employment, anti-discrimination, and other applicable laws, as well as district and athletic association rules
- All terms of employment or volunteer service, including pay
You agree that the information you give us about an opening is accurate, lawful, and not discriminatory.
5. Campaign content
You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your school or district name, the position details, and any logos or images you supply. We use them only to create and run your campaign. We'll share the campaign with you before it launches, and you can ask us to change it or stop it at any time. Advertising platforms may reject or limit ads under their own policies, and those decisions are outside our control.
6. Candidate information
The candidate information we send you may be used only to evaluate and communicate with those candidates about coaching positions. You agree to handle it securely and in line with applicable privacy laws. You also agree not to sell it or share it with anyone else for unrelated purposes.
7. Potential coaches
If you respond to a CoachBridge campaign, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that we may share it with the hiring school. Expressing interest does not create an offer of employment or a relationship with CoachBridge, and we don't guarantee you'll be contacted or hired. CoachBridge never charges potential coaches.
8. No guarantee of results
We work to put your opening in front of the right people. However, we don't guarantee any number of responses, the quality or suitability of any candidate, or that a hire will happen. Our "$0 if you don't hire" pricing reflects this.
9. Use of the website
You agree not to misuse coachbridge.org. For example, you may not:
- Submit false information or impersonate another person or organization
- Use the site or its forms to send spam or unsolicited messages
- Scrape the site, disrupt it, or try to gain unauthorized access to it
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
10. Intellectual property
The CoachBridge name, logo, website, and campaign materials we create, not including the content you supply, belong to CoachBridge. These Terms don't give you any right to use them except as needed to take part in your campaign.
11. Disclaimers
The website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not responsible for the conduct of any school, candidate, or advertising platform.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, CoachBridge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or our services will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify CoachBridge against claims that arise from any of the following:
- Your hiring decisions or employment practices
- Content you provide for a campaign
- Your use of candidate information
- Your violation of these Terms or of applicable law
This applies to the extent the law allows. Public entities are bound only to the extent their governing law permits.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless the law requires otherwise for a public entity.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Changes don't apply to fees for a campaign that was already running when the change took effect.
