POSITION TITLE: Head Coach, Softball DEPARTMENT: Athletics REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics POSITION SUMMARY To provide leadership and direction for all aspects of the Softball program. Plan, implement and evaluate a NJCAA Division III intercollegiate Softball program. Recruit, retain and graduate student-athletes. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Recruit, train, and coach student-athletes. 2. Organize, schedule and supervise practice sessions. 3. Schedule games. 4. Coordinate team travel. 5. Perform administrative tasks including budget management. 6. Order and inventory all equipment. 7. Generate additional funds for support of the program through fundraising. 8. Hire and supervise assistant coaches. 9. Provide a high quality of moral and ethical leadership. 10. Ability to work with diverse populations. 11.
