Position Summary
Liberal High School is seeking a committed and team-oriented Assistant Football Coach to support the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program. This role focuses on player development, program support, and maintaining a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with practices, games, and film preparation
Coach assigned position group and support skill development
Reinforce team standards, discipline, and sportsmanship
Supervise student-athletes during team activities
Support game-day operations and scouting preparation
Communicate effectively with players and coaching staff
Ensure compliance with school and district policies
Qualifications
Football coaching and/or playing experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under the direction of the Head Coach
Availability for after-school practices and games
Must meet all district employment requirements
Compensation
Supplemental pay based on years of experience (in-district)
