JOB DESCRIPTION: Teacher:
Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students in the classroom. Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge of high school curriculum. Demonstrate awareness of the needs of students and provide for individual differences. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING:
Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia PSC approved teaching certificate.
SKILLS:
Ability and knowledge to effectively teach and coach at the high school level.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous teaching experience preferred; previous coaching experience required.
