POSITION TITLE

Head Girls Basketball Coach / Classroom Teacher (Content Area To Be Determined)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervise student athletes, ensuring safe basketball athletic techniques. Host basketball camps and competitions. Promote school spirit. Prepare team for athletic competitions. Represent the school at invitational, regional, and state basketball competitions. Foster good relations with community, faculty and parents. Perform responsibilities as designated by the athletic director or principal.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING:
Valid Georgia educator certificate. Actively teaching in the Coweta County School System.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Proficiency required in oral and written communication, interpersonal relations. Competency in organizing and planning the basketball program.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Successful teaching and coaching experience.
