Interlachen High School (FL) - located approximately 35 minutes east of Gainesville and an affiliate member of the SSAA Atlantic, which has expanded from 4 teams to 42 is seeking a Defensive Coordinator or best-fit assistant coach. The teaching position will most likely be PE/Weight Training, with additional spring and winter sport coaching opportunities available. Candidates must be certified teachers in the state of Florida and committed to supporting the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes. This is a year-round commitment, with the expectation that the successful candidate will actively participate in the off-season program, spring practice, summer conditioning, fundraising and attend camps and clinics to continue developing their coaching knowledge. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the community, and a commitment to upholding school and district expectations.
