Crismon High School is looking for a Volunteer Assistant Coach to join our program. Apply now. This posting is for volunteer coaches that have been approved by the site athletic director. JOB GOAL: To provide an enjoyable and safe sporting experience for athletes, while they learn individual and team games skills, sportsmanship and fair play. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent NFHS- Concussion Course, Fundamentals of Coaching Course, and Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course: https://nfhslearn.com/courses Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card: https://www.azdps.gov/services/public/fingerprint Must pass a background clearance. Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport. TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Sport season plus possible playoff games and camps/clinics. REPORTS TO: Athletic Director EVALUATION: Completed at the end of season by Athletic Director PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Maintain high expectations for student athletic skill development Reinforce school-wide rules and expectations Collaborate closely with fellow coaches and Athletic Director Differentiate instruction effectively to meet the individual needs of students Participate actively in professional development Communicate effectively with parents Build strong relationships with students, teachers and families Perform other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
