Supervisor: Athletic Director
Estimated time commitment: 10-20 hours per week during the season (The official season is March 1 to May 15.)
Detailed description of duties/responsibilities:
Lead Lake County girls’ soccer program
Teach fundamental soccer skills, theory and strategy
Communicate positively and clearly with parents and athletes
Supervise athletes at games and on the bus traveling to and from those events
Build a positive team environment
Promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, academic excellence and positive school behavior
Available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel with the team for games
Cooperate/communicate with Lake County athletic director
Coordinate the distribution, collection and storage of equipment, supplies and uniforms
Possess and maintain a moral character that is in congruence with the expectations of the Board of Education
Certified in or willing to become certified in CPR and First Aid
Special qualifications, if any:
Experience coaching, preferred but not required
Experience working with high school students preferred
Knowledge of the game of soccer
