Position Title: Assistant Softball Coach
Overview:
Basalt High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Softball Coach. This role is an integral part of our coaching staff, focusing on developing skills, and overall performance while fostering a supportive and competitive team environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in organizing and managing team practices, games, and events.
Provide real-time feedback during practices and games to optimize performance.
Collaborate with the head coach to align pitching development with overall team goals.
Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive team culture.
Ensure compliance with school and state athletic regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience as a softball coach (minimum of 2 years) or player (minimum of 4 years).
In-depth knowledge of pitching techniques and training strategies.
Strong communication and mentorship skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff and student-athletes.
Commitment to player development and team success.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level.
Advanced training or certifications in softball coaching.
Schedule and Compensation:
Seasonal position, aligning with the softball season (August-October).
Salary Range: $2,772.00 - $3,493.00 depending on
previous paid experience
in this sport.
