Job Summary
The Lab School Coach is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the program in accordance with Laboratory Schools and IHSA/IESA policies.
The coach is expected to carry out the School's responsibility in contributing to the educational development of the student through their work with the activity. The coach teaches important skills relevant to the activity, promotes teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship and leadership in a supportive environment that fosters personal growth.

Required Qualifications
1. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with teaching endorsements or ASEP/NFHS/IHSA Certification (non-faculty coach)
2. Experience and/or expertise in the sport/activity
Desired Qualifications
1. Successful coaching experience in the sport/activity
2. Successful completion of the IHSA/NFHS Coaching Education requirements
Work Hours
Typically after school hours M-F and weekends
