Prior high school football coaching experience is preferred. Prior playing experience at high school and/or collegiate level is desired. Applicants must complete two National Federation of High Schools online coaching courses - Fundamentals of Coaching and Concussion in Sports. II.     TYPICAL DUTIES: A.     Work with the Activities Director in scheduling practices and contests. B.     Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved. III.   PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: A.      Have a specialized preparation emphasizing the coaching of the respective sport. B.      Have a fundamental knowledge of the care and prevention of athletic injuries and training programs. C.      Hold a current Standard First Aid Card.
