Summary: The Assistant Coach must demonstrate leadership in player and staff development, integrity, sportsmanship and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional skills and strategies of their sport as it pertains to the policies of New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing a written team rules which includes a philosophy statement and discusses acceptable player behavior, practice procedures, substance abuse policies and other guidelines that relate to program management. Conduct a pre-season meeting with parents and players to share these policies and procedures.
