The Middle School Athletic Trainer provides athletic healthcare services for student-athletes across three middle school campuses. Primary assignments will be at the middle school level, but responsibilities are not exclusive to these campuses. The athletic trainer will receive support and collaboration from the high school athletic training staff.
This position is responsible for injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation; communication with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers; and ensuring compliance with UIL, district, and state guidelines. This role requires independent decision-making, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel between multiple campuses.
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
Texas Board of Athletic Trainers License (LAT) or Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC)
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
