JOB TITLE: MHS Basketball Coach - Boys JV EMPLOYMENT TERM: Season consists of approximately 10 weeks and a conference tournament that may require road travel. SUPERVISOR: Athletic Director CLASSIFICATION: Coaching SALARY: Stipend Based DESCRIPTION Coaching is a part-time position and is responsible for the planning, promotion and administration of a quality basketball program. Coach will plan and promote athletic practices, schedule transportation, coordinate fundraisers when needed, and other team events. Coach will enforce all school, conference and Arizona Interscholastic Association rules and regulations. The primary focus of the season will be to improve the middle school basketball program and to create a strong foundation of skills and leadership for participants. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coach student athletes in area of assigned responsibility. Organize and supervise a total sports program.
