REPORTS TO : High School Principal and Athletic Director EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Temporary, part-time POSITION SUMMARY : Serve as JV Cheerleading Coach for high school sports activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct and/or supervise all activities needed for the selection of cheerleaders. Coach or supervise all practice sessions and scheduled events. Assure that students are supervised continuously and require students to behave appropriately. Distribute, collect and inventory the equipment. Complete and store all necessary records and forms. Conduct awards programs and present awards to the cheerleaders. Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, parents and community members.
