Description of Service Opportunity: The Assistant Coach is directly responsible to the Head Coach, Director of Athletics, and High School Principal. The Assistant Coach will work in close collaboration with the Head Coach and will assume assignments as directed by the Head Coach. In addition, the Assistant Coach will assist in the issue, security, and upkeep of equipment; meet with the Athletic Management Team and other coaches as requested; help in ensuring that the M.I.A.A. rules and regulations are known and followed by all players and coaches within the program; participate in clinics to enhance personal knowledge of his/her particular sport; help in ensuring the safety and security of athletes during practices and games and in the locker rooms, as well as enroute to games/meets; and perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics.
