Reports To: Building Principal Position Purpose: To provide leadership and instruction to student athletes. To promote student athletes’ physical, social, emotional and mental development. Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED.  Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport preferred.  Must be able to successfully complete the district’s pre-employment screenings.  Must be able to complete all KSHSAA and district requirements prior to the first day of practice with student athletes.  Knowledge of KSHSAA rules and regulations required.  Must be able to fulfill all responsibilities of the position as designated by the building administration and district athletic department including but not limited to attending all required meetings, completing required trainings and following all district policies and procedures.  Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.  Must have reliable transportation.  CPR/AED certification...

Reports To: Head Coach Position Purpose: The coach helps students achieve a high level of skill and an appreciation for the values and discipline related to the sport or activity and sportsmanship. The general safety and welfare of each participant shall be the primary concern. The coach provides leadership and coordination in the assigned activity or sport. Qualifications:  Applicants must meet the Kansas Department of Education certification requirements, or  Meet the requirements of the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) Rule 10.
