Assistant Track Coach
Regional School Unit 60 is looking for a Track & Field coach to join our program. Apply now. The Assistant Track Coach serves under the direction and supervision of the Head Track Coach and the Athletic Director. This person will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and directing of the track program as well as manage the conduct of athletes in the locker room, at practices and team functions, on the bus, and at games. Independent judgment and decision-making are required in many matters not having established rules, regulations, policies, or precedent. All coaches must complete staff training on Child Abuse Identification and Prevention in Oregon Schools; Sexual Misconduct – Staff-to-Student; and Bullying Prevention in Oregon Schools. Trainings in Coaching Fundamentals, Concussion Management, and Steroid Education are also required. All coaching contracts are issued on a year-to-year basis.
