Duties to include, but not limited to: 1.Responsible for the planning and scheduling of a regular program of practice. 2.Oversees the safety conditions of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted at all times in which students are present. 3.Enforces teamwork, discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times, and establishes and oversees penalties for breach of such standards by individual students. 4.Reports to Athletic Director and the Principal. 5.Will attend all meetings and safety training sessions as directed by the Athletic Director or Principal. All positions are subject to qualifications, duties and rates of compensation presently in force, and subject to appropriate funding.

Applicants must be able to develop a solid rapport with student athletes, work cooperatively with the athletic program, provide positive leadership, and model the ideals of good sportsmanship. A strong knowledge of coaching principles is required. Previous coaching experience preferred. Position opened until filled. It is Otter Valley’s intent to establish long-term commitments from all Varsity coaches, allowing the successful candidate to build and develop strong feeder programs.
