The Volunteer Coach at Franklin Central High School is designed for a coach who believes that athletics is a powerful tool for teaching life skills. This role centers on developing student‑athletes as people first and competitors second, helping them learn responsibility, perseverance, and teamwork in a structured and supportive environment. The program places a strong emphasis on clear communication, mutual respect, and long‑term development rather than short‑term results alone. On a daily basis, the Volunteer Coach is responsible for planning and delivering practices that are active, safe, and inclusive.
