Under direction, the role of the JV head coach is to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures pertaining to an interscholastic sports program. Head junior varsity/secondary head coaches provide leadership and vision within the athletic program, organizing and supporting the oversight of all aspects of the program to help ensure it meets the needs of the school district and its participants. *Secondary Head Coach- naming for programs that do not have a designated Junior Varsity level.
