Coach - 2025-26 LHS Girls Assistant Wrestling
I. NATURE OF POSITION: A. The High School Coach shall be directly responsible to the building principal, but will work through the Activities Director in carrying out his/her assignments. B. The High School Coach shall help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, physical development, and knowledge of the game. II. TYPICAL DUTIES: A. Work with the Activities Director in scheduling practices and contests. B. Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved. III. PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: A. Have a specialized preparation emphasizing the coaching of the respective sport. B. Have a fundamental knowledge of the care and prevention of athletic injuries and training programs. C. Hold a current Standard First Aid Card.
