Has a thorough knowledge of the rules and regulations of the NCHSAA, DCS, and Conference as they pertain to his/her sport, including verifying the eligibility of all staff members and student-athletes. Will provide a final roster to the AD. This includes following all DCS School Board Policies. Understands the proper administrative chain of command and refers all requests or grievances through the proper channels. Is aware of all public/staff/departmental meetings that require attendance. Establishes the fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques to be taught by the staff.
