The Junior Varsity Coach is directly responsible to the Head Coach, Director of Athletics, and High School Principal. The Junior Varsity Coach will work in close collaboration with the Head Coach and will assume assignments as directed by the Head Coach. In addition, the Junior Varsity Coach will schedule practice sessions during appropriate times and file that schedule with the Head Coach; assist in the issue, security, and upkeep of equipment; meet with the Athletic Management Team and other coaches as requested; ensure that the M.I.A.A. rules and regulations are known and followed by all players and coaches within the program; keep records as requested; conduct clinics for elementary students; participate in clinics to enhance personal knowledge of his/her particular sport; ensure the safety and security of athletes during practices and games and in the locker rooms, as well as enroute to games/meets; assist with the varsity team as needed and perform other duties as assigned by...
