MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Florida teaching certificate or valid Department of Education athletic coaching certificate. Valid FHSAA certification. Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Valid Florida Driver's License. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Coaching experience at the high school level. Experience mentoring youth and fostering a positive team culture. Familiarity with academic eligibility requirements for student-athletes. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of the sport's rules, techniques, and safety practices. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and community partners. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during school breaks as needed.
