Essex Westford School District has an opportunity for a Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Essex High School for the 2026/2027 Fall and Winter seasons. The position pays a stipend for the season. All coaches must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate at the commencement of the sports season for which the person has been appointed to coach. Candidates must also meet the certification and training requirements of the VPA, which require certification in Sports First Aid and Fundamentals in Coaching within one year of hire. Acceptable certifications include ASEP (American Sport Education Program) certification or NFHS (National Federation of High Schools).
