Description:
The middle school physical education teacher is responsible for creating a classroom environment that promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of exercise and a healthy body. The physical education teacher instructs and develops students within physical education, health, rhythm/dance and individual and team sports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Teaching licensure for the State of Ohio or the ability to obtain substitute licensure for the State of Ohio
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Analyzes, demonstrates, and explains basic skills, knowledge and strategies of formal sports, games, dances, and fundamentals of body movement.
