Valid Florida teaching certificate or valid Department of Education athletic coaching certificate. Valid FHSAA certification. Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Valid Florida Driver’s License. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Coaching experience at the high school level. Experience mentoring youth and fostering a positive team culture. Familiarity with academic eligibility requirements for student-athletes. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of the sport’s rules, techniques, and safety practices.
