The coach will plan and lead practices, develop game strategies, and foster the personal and athletic development of student-athletes. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and supervise all practices, games, and team events. Teach the fundamentals of basketball, including rules, techniques, and strategies, appropriate to the developmental level of students in grades 5–8. "Consistently model and promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and mutual respect. Treat every player with dignity, fostering a strong sense of self-worth and belonging, while upholding respect for opponents, officials, and spectators always. Always ensure the safety and well-being of all players, including proper conditioning, warm-up, and supervision. Develop and communicate clear expectations for student-athletes and maintain discipline according to school and athletic department policies.
